WES May Day Celebration is Friday, May 23rd. Lunch order forms and more information on the daily schedule were sent home with your child on Thursday, April 24th. Please click here to view the flier online.

WES 5th grade exit ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, from 4pm - 7:45 pm. We look forward to sharing this special event with the families of our 5th grade class!

Keiki attending WES for the 2014-2015 school year will need to wear uniform school shirts. The order form for school shirts was sent home on Thursday, April 17th. Please click here to view / print the order form online.

Waimea Elementary School is located in the South Kohala District on the island of Hawaii, better known as "The Big Island." Once considered a rural community, Waimea is rapidly becoming more suburban in nature. The community is a blend of ranching, farming and high technology. Headquarters for Parker Ranch, Keck Observatory and Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Corp. are found within the town limits. Nestled at the foothills of the Kohala and Mauna Kea Mountains, Waimea Elementary and Intermediate School was founded in 1916 as a one building school house containing 8 classrooms. In July of 2002, Waimea Elementary and Intermediate school separated and became two schools and continue to co-exist on one campus. See Map
